School photos are a week from today. Mountain West Studios will be here on Wednesday September 21st for student photos. Order forms will be handed out today and students may also pick them up in the office starting this afternoon.
We will be resuming schedule changes for students on Tuesday September 13th. Students in Grade 12 who had previously scheduled appointments for Monday will be shifted to Tuesday. Grade 11 appointments will take place on Wednesday and Grade 10 students will be met with on Thursday. We ask all students who are wanting to make changes to their schedule to please book an appointment with a counsellor. Appointments can be booked through the office. The last day for schedule changes is this Friday September 16th.
The counseling staff at the South Peace Campus may not be available to work with students for schedule changes on Monday due to a recent tragedy connected to the school community. We will share a plan for addressing schedule changes on Monday September 12.
Welcome back students, staff and families to the 2016/17 school year. Just a couple of information pieces.
The school office is open this week for new registrations and for anyone that has questions. Any students wishing to make schedule changes or get their lockers will have to wait until next week. Counsellors will be back in the building on next week and are available to meet with students on Thursday and Friday. Please note that new registrations are our first priority when it comes to scheduling. Lockers will be available starting Thursday September 8th.
Thank you to all who watched the Facebook live stream event on Saturday night. Despite the weather we had another amazing turnout both in person and online. Here are a few stats to show the power of social media. Thank you to the Encana Events Center for making this possible. The videos are still available through the Encana Events Center Facebook page
