Week of October 30, 2017

Hello again Central parents & guardians.

We have lots planned for this week including Halloween Day on Tuesday.

Monday – Hockey Canada’s mascot, Puckster, will be here during our Lunch Break to promote the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge that’s happening in Dawson Creek as we host teams from all over the world including Russia, Finland, Sweden, USA, Czech Republic and of course CANADA!

Tuesday – Halloween Spirit activities with the Room of Terror Haunted House, Halloween Photo Booth and our Costume Contest (starting at 2:20pm). These activities have been planned and organized by Ms. Vincent and her X1 Leadership 9 class.

Friday – Student Assembly during the first block with Ms. Lindstrom and Mr. Horton.  Photo Retakes the rest of the day.

Monday evening, Nov 6th, is our next DCSS PAC meeting @ 7:00pm.  It will be at our Campus in the Welcome Room. The front doors will be open.

Our Coyotes’ Chronicles Newsletter will be posted by next Tuesday.

As you may know, we’ve had quite the traffic craze around Central Campus with the Bridge construction and now with the closure of 13th street at the corner of the Library.

We request that parents drop off their sons and daughters at the front entrance to our building as usual or up the street from the Campus.  Please avoid driving behind our building as it’s meant to be single-lane access for staff and we have many students coming and going from the Shop and Music Building. Your patience and understand is appreciated.

Have a great week.  See you soon.
