Student-Teacher Hockey Game

On December 20th, Dawson Creek Secondary School – South Peace Campus is hosting a Student/Teacher hockey game at the Memorial Arena. The purpose of the game is to provide a fun community-building activity for the school. Students and staff will be departing the school at 12:50pm with their A-Block class and walking to the Memorial Arena.  Students will be dismissed after the game from the arena.  There was high demand from students to compete with the teachers for the “Penguin Cup” so two student teams have been created. There will be three 20-minute games during the event with the following schedule:

  • 1:10 – 1:30 Teachers vs. Students ‘A’
  • 1:40 – 2:00 Students ‘A’ vs. Students ‘B’
  • 2:10 – 2:30 Teachers vs. Students ‘B’

There is a one-dollar minimum donation to the event. We are raising funds to support the Dawson Creek Networks Ministries.
We encouraged parents to come to the game and cheer on the teams (preferably cheer for the teachers).
Students are expected to attend to the event, however, if students choose to remain at the school they will be able to complete work in the library.
