Brent will be offering a workshop on Parents as Career Coaches at the South Peace Campus on March 3rd from 6:30 - 9:00pm. Please see the document below for details. The DCSS Junior Girls Volleyball Team is off to Provincials after a win at zones two weeks ago. The team will travel to Delta on Thursday and begin play Friday at the tournament. We wish the team all the best at the provincial tournament.
We are very proud to once again this year to be bringing back the talented Gina Schmidt from SFU to run a weekend of volleyball skills camps. The camp is open to students in Grades 6 - 12 (Girls & Boys) from the across the peace country. Space is limited so get your registrations in early.
Smoking is prohibited on school property for both students and the general public. Students who are caught smoking on school property will face a three-day suspension from school. Members of the public who choose to smoke on property will be asked to leave the property and may face potential fines.
We will be holding our first grad parent meeting this Thursday November 12th at 7:00pm in North Court. Please join us if you are able to attend.
There will be a Grade 12 assembly on Monday November 2nd during homeroom. All Grade 12 students are asked to attend. We will be talking about all things Graduation.
Also for Grade 12s. If you are interested in being involved with the Grad Committee the first meeting will be on November 5th during lunch in North Court.
Interim reports for students at the South Peace Campus are avaliable to be picked up at the office or from your child's teacher. Interims will not be mailed out in a timely as we are working through verifying addresses for students after the conversion to the new student information system. Please contact your child's teacher if you have any questions about their progress in their classes.
